Accreditation and industries

The purpose of certification is to create confidence among relevant stakeholders by verifying that a given management system meets certain requirements. The value of certification is therefore hidden in the conviction or trust created by the impartial and professional assessment of a third party. Accreditation is a process of creating trust and certification bodies are granted based on the industries that certified clients fall under.

Versa vottun has been internationally accredited by Swedac to certify a quality management system based on the ISO 9001 standard. It is Versa vottun's goal to pursue accreditation in the industries covered by Versa vottun's clients. The industry classification is defined by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and is based on ÍSAT codes registered with RSK. The accreditation currently covers the following industries:
